c6 tranny issue
My wifes dad has a older 60"s ford f series truck and he pulled the tranny out decided he would try and rebuild it his self...

bought a shift kit/rebuild kit, done everything to it and put the tranny back in all he can do is get it to go in Reverse..

He has pulled it out of the truck 3 times and put it back in, tore the tranny apart 3 times and put everything back together by the manual..

So the truck will only go in reverse gear forward gear it will not move..

Not sure if anyone on here knows about/works on transmissions can help or whatever.. anything would help, i hate seeing him have to pull that tranny in and out of that truck on the cold driveway and all..
