Harrop 1320 TVS. It will get me to about 375hp for what I have to support it.

As for the Cobalt, I don't know too much about them... But I have seen a few at autox and they seem to move pretty well. I'd rock one. Good luck man. I hope you find something that makes ya guys happy!
I was just talking shit about the bengals in the other thread because they suck. Oh, and tibs, people get easily riled up here, so its fun.

I've driven an SS/TC and even almost bought one When they first came out. I didn't beat on it so I can't tell you about speed from a drivers perspective but all around it felt like a solid little car. I wouldn't mind having one at all.
I actually raced one (SS/TC) last weekend in the evo. He was bolt ons And tuned. I beat him pretty easily but the car sounded good and ran well For what it was.
My closing is go drive one, I know I really liked it.

Hey "JDM teg" fag, shut the fuck up.

I definitely would of considered a TC if I hadn't of gotten such a good deal on my MS3. I don't have direct experience with the TC, but from a FWD turbo experience... I love my mazda as a daily. It's just fun enough that I don't hate driving it every day, handles well enough I can wax ricers through the "twisties" and gets good enough gas mileage I don't check my bank account with every fill up.

Having bad experience with my last modded "daily", my orange Neon I have decided not to modify my car. I want to, but it's not worth the chance on something I drive every day, and have a payment on. That is my recommendation, that you may reconsider... Yea, it may only be a tune and exhaust, but shit happens and the dealership will fuck you first chance they get... (Speaking from experience).

The only argument I would make is, if it's going to be a daily and a GF car.. I would strongly consider a used SC. The cost savings I would assume would be fairly substantial (although I haven't done research) and for someone who will probably never need or use the power difference to me it would make the most sense... Plus you will be less inclined to throw money away, on it. My .02.

SC's value dropped like a rock once the TC's came out. Trade in is rough, as well as private sale.

If you're getting a Cobalt, get a TC.

I had a quick FWD car, not having traction is not "fun".. It is fucking annoying and will drive you insane.

That's exactly my point. They are probably cheap... Compared to a TC. He is not trading it in, all cars suck when it comes to trade in anyways... He is keeping it, for awhile. Let someone else take the hit.. Just giving an alternative suggestion. I bought my 1st Neon new.. I swore I'd never do it again.. And I wouldn't of had I of not gotten the deal I did on my MS3.

You can find an 09 TC that's either still on the lot, or for sale for way less than the sticker of 26k. There's at least 4 or 5 on sale on Cobaltss.net with less than 15k miles for 18k. I'd pay the extra 10k for the TC over the SC. With everything you get for the money, well worth it.

And for the traction part, I know. It drives me nuts now. haha

Thanks, Sean. And to be honest I know if I go drive one, i'll be a dumbass and buy it that day. I want to owe the least amount on the car possible(obviously) so we're both saving as much as possible, and I told if we had x amount by the end of January we'll go get one. She's horrible at saving money so we're both going to start a "car fund" and try to get that amount and whoever has the least when it's time to buy it has to pay the 6 mo. insurance. lol

Thanks waffles, I actually didn't think about the ms3 until now, i'll show her pics and see what she says. I also understand the modded daily, i'll honestly just do a tune after seeing how they run. I could save close to 10k if I bought an ss/sc, and I would no doubt do that if I wasn't going to drive it also, but i'd like a warranty, and I like the capabilities of the TC. If I was smart I would buy the ss/sc, but these guys got me excited about a new car.. If you don't mind, can you please post up some pics you've taken of your car? Or just a link will work too, thanks dude.

Yea, I have zero concept for how much those cars cost. But that's not a bad price really. 10k is a lot of dough though, for a "non race car".

And try spinning till 90mph... That takes annoying to a whole new level.

Btw, if you happen to run into any TC sedans in your look for a Cobalt..think about getting it. Pretty rare car, only about 474 produced iirc.

I never said anything bad about turbocharged cobalts, therefore, consider using your reading glasses next time. The SC's however, was a failed attempt by GM to try and make something quick.

Dude, I should've neg repped you instead of the plus hoping that you'd shut the fuck up about this. You drive an integra dude. How the hell is the cobalt ss/sc a failure? It's a neat looking car that runs low 14's and get's 35mpg. Who says it has to fucking 12's to be quick? put a fucking pulley on the thing and go. Much better than a 1.8 liter n/a 15 second fucking integra. Someone neg rep this guy.
