who the hell with a v8 needs that much boost? a stroker ls1 with a nice size turbo with like 20lbs can make 1k+..

You should look into the new pte6785BB units that were just released. They are MIR class legal and rate for 1000hp on a 67mm wheel!!!!!

The only chance a 67mm turbo has a chance at making 1000hp is on a 4 cylinder or a small 6 like a Supra. I would think anything larger than that would use it up before it gets into power. Would have to see a compressor map of it. Now twin 6785s or whatever on a v8 would probably be way north of 1500hp
