LS VTEC Timing... anyone want to make some $$$?
So I've had this 1997 Civic Ex for what feels like an eternity and been through many issues before figuring out a dying fuel pump killed most every engine I've had prior in this.

I dropped in a LS VTEC last year that was running great, then replaced head gasket after some over heating issues which I've now fixed, but ever since then try as I might I cannot get this thing to time / run correctly and have run out of luck.

So is there anyone on here with experience with a LS VTEC swap?

Willing to pay for your time to come get this running right, it does start and run but having issues.

Car is located in North College Hill, full garage of tools / lift for use on project.

Thanks
Bob

I cant exactly get there to help but, when you are timing it are the cams(which is tricky) lined up? and are you making sure the crank is lined properly?

Shouldn't be too awful hard if the head/deck have been excessively milled it can prevent things from lining up properly, this is where adj gears are useful
