I would say it's the motor, and you should cut your losses by selling it to me for $300.

Maybe try to clean it out before you replace it. They can get sticky sometimes, let it cool and use some carb cleaner. If it doesn't work you're only out a half hour.

the injectors are garbage on these motors mine did that and then when 2 finally went out completely they flooded the cylinder and hydro locked the motor. and they are a complete pain in ass to get to the rear ones. that being said ill do them for 100 bucks i should say my 93 maxima but its the same motor so w/e

it' a VG30DE, you are correct about the 93 Nissan the SOHC engines in the Maxima were VG30E and the DOHC were the VE30DE

VE30DEs were modified VG DOHC engines. Nissan had to create new heads with a more narrow banking between the valves along with a more compact intake manifold so it would fit under the Maximas hood. The VG30DE was too wide with the heads on but they were determined to get moar power so they made the VE.

Have you tried the Temp Sensor?

Sounds stupid but it caused my buddy a week long headache, 350 bucks and no vehicle
