Check engine light?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had some performance parts installed this past Saturday and while I was out driving last night my check engine light came on. The list of parts includes:

-E34 M5 Clutch/UUC 8.5lb alumuminum flywheel
-UUC/Corsa RSC36 exhaust
-EVO SSK/DSSR
-CDV delete
-poly uretheane(sp?) tranny mounts
-new guido disk and new center differential bushing
-UUC recommended "anti-rattle" tranny fluid mixture
-New brake fluid

I'm still running on the stock tune, could that have something to do with the check engine light?

As usual, check the stupid things first like making sure the o2 sensors are plugged back in etc...

While I'm not sure what in that list could have possibly tripped a check engine light I do have have a code reader for E36's. If you're going to be in the Mason area let me know and we can pull the code.

If you happened to use an Impact when taking the exhaust off / putting it back on
you may have rattled loose the porcelains inside the O2 Sensors.
I made that mistake before, threw a CEL right after a clutch job.
Let me know if you need any help with the car.
Thanks,
Robert

Yea I had the code ran and it was the pre-cat O2 sensor to cylinder banks 1-3. I got it taken care of, but thanks for the offer.
