Secondly, I have $100 on the Neon pulling the 1g on the highway, up for the bet? :)

as interesting as that sounds, fwd vs awd on the hwy...why cant we stop being pussies and go from a dig?? I would have already raced you mike but my trans was shipped with a mount bolt broke the fuck off, apparently some jackass sent tre a core with a bolt sheered off. well, i drilled it out half way and found a bolt extractor broke off half way down. trans is already back in michigan but... now he has to "find" another trans and swap my stuff in it. Hes had it since thursday but hes on vacation. hahaha.

How about we just race from a stop, and after i show you my tail lights you can have your fun on the hwy.

I didn't know there was another OB in the area, haven't seen him...
If it makes you feel better I did buy a HKS BOV though, just haven't bought the hard pipes yet. (Got a good deal on the HKS BOV, FREE!).
But that shit's annoying, so I understand where you're coming from. That's like all these damn civic's and mustangs revving at me..shit is so annoying I want to punch them in the fucking face.

I would consider your CO's/Sway bars if you would drop the price some.
S3 Coilovers brand new are $1500 and Hotckhis Sways are $300.

Good luck getting them cheaper than what I offered you.

Is it the 2.4L turbo charged? I'm curious why you would do this? Just to be different or ? Pretty interesting project!

I have a neon. It's a first gen coupe. I used to have a 12 second SRT4 but didn't drive it much so I sold it while it was still worth a decent amount. My coupe will be finished soon....should have around 300whp on the turbo and I'm not sure yet what will happen when I throw some juice on it. I'm looking to hit 11's on the stock SRT4 turbo. Project photos are here:

http://thedarkroom.us/jason_pics/gallery2/main.php

I enjoy having everyone tell me how shitty, gay, cheap, slow, etc, etc. neons are because it's that much enjoyable to surprise them with decent performance numbers I find it much more rewarding that way then going with what is popular...but I guess that is just me. Plus, they are cheap to work on and build up (for the most part) so I don't have to spend all of my spare $$$ on the car.....but other things in my life. So it's a good situation for me and I continue to be happy with my little neon

HELL YA Blake! Looks great! I can't wait to see some numbers......

I don't think so.. I live in beechmont and drive up 275 to Fields Ertel everday.
Usually around 8:30-9:00am im on 275. Now I have a buddy that lives out toward Goshen and I might of been coming/going but I think there's maybe an orange one out that direction somewhere because someone else pointed him out, but I've never seen him.

Seriously, what's the deal? They need to find another city, there's not enough room for all of us.
