Supra at the shop...

Working on this customers supra, it is kind of a mess, as the customer didn't really set goals, he just started throwing parts at it..

So now it sits in the shop... awaiting manipulate-able tuning software, owner was just trying to run it on a map hack, and v-afc... so yeah.. basically a can of worms...

(n/a auto car converted to 6 speed, n/a engine now turbo charged)

meh!

Ah, pictures.

My first question is why, he is going to spend a million dollars and could've gotten a TT sooo much cheaper.

Buying a $3,000 dollar v160 yet still having a GE block also doesn't make sense. It does appear to have a fuel system so thats good atleast. But, he's going to need something to tune with MAP ECU at least. I hope his goals aren't high, because that diff... I'm guessing it's still the NA 4.27 is going to EXPLODE if that car makes and kind of power, let alone if he launches it any kind of hard.

You have a lot of work ahead of you, and I hope he has deep deep pockets.

There's no radiator, or shroud. Electric fans never seem to work real well on Supra's. Steven's had good luck, but I've heard of a lot of people overheating.

Must every vacuum line be green ? Also whats goin on with the double o2 ? Im sure one is a wideband but your going to burn those sensors up quick being that close to the exhaust housing.

Actually the "map ecu" is the unit we have to work with.. alot of shit is either unhooked, or not ran yet, so we are chasing down wiring, and getting certain signals where they need to be... I constantly scratch my head going over this thing... I am trying to get the owner to go Aem or autronic...

meh... I will chime in with updates..
