Avcs deletion for the exhaust side mainly makes a difference at lower rpms when not in boost. Avcs has also been proven to cause valve drop in higher HP applications. With the potential of me swapping to a bigger turbo in the future, I chose to delete it. There are also other issues with other electronics in a 2004 chassis not being compatible with a 2008+ ecu.

pulling the valve covers off kinda sucks, but once they are off, there's quite a bit more room in there to pull off the cam caps and remove the cams.

Didnt have the cams timed correctly?? I did that the first time I did a timing belt.

Everything was in time......
However, Nick, aka 87poopra, did not install the exhaust cams in the correct sides. Dumb mistake that neither one of us caught, but at least it wasn't something serious.
Shit happens when it's late. Can't blame it on dim lighting though
