Spun rod bearing help
How hard of a fix would a spun rod bearing be or maybe just easier to take to a shop?

Easy. Do it yourself. Pull the bottom end apart get your crank out and take it to a machine shop and have them turn it then get the proper bearings and put it back together. But since you asked, yeah probably take it to the shop

give me a call i'll get ya all fixed up.

cheaper to replace the engine though.
"spun" rod bearings lead to ALOT of problems. the Crank/Rod(s) might be unsalvagable /Oil Pump now has massive metal in it/ turbo might have metel sucked inside so there are alot of thing that "can" be damaged the cost of repair is undetermined. so the choice of a used engine is always cheaper, but maybe not always better.

The cheapest route, would probably be to look for a wrecked SRT, steal the motor, and part the rest out.
