we went with ARP 2000's in my 6.0L, but I had BES check clearances, and polish the crank as needed. other than that, my short block is stock. still factory bearings, and factory ring pack.
In the 418, We went with the L19 rod bolt upgrade. even larger bolt size than normal, but just a little extra notice to clearance with windage tray, pistons and block with the 4.100 stroke.
Josh what rods are in your stroker?

140 traps with an n/a setup like that is really impressive. Seems like a relatively simple build.

Yeah, Tony called the motor a Bracket setup. Meaning I can get 3 times the passes out of valvetrain before needing replaced(new valve springs and lifters etc etc) but He said I also gave up about 30-60 hp depending how wild we could have got with the camshaft.
This winter, I think I want to make a few upgrades I had to skip, go with Tony's "wild" custom camshaft, and keep rocking going fast NA(for running UMTR)

I was just thinking how strange it feels that someone politely asked that their thread not turn into a shit storm and it didn't. Usually on CSS if someone has to politely ask people to stop posting, they are not so politely told to get fucked. When Brent says it tho..

My friend and I need to check in with Tony and talk about an appropriate cam for his 383. We've got the heads flow spec's and I believe the cam that is in the car now is definately not the right one. Not enough ramp on the lift, needs more area under the lift profile.
