I've seen worse, guess it depends on the cars purpose/weight. Props to that guy for sticking with the 5s.
Instead of throwing what you call stupid at it, he threw money at it. And a lot, for me. I'd rather just buy an 3s and swap it into an earlier gen mr2.

Heres theyre mod list, dyno sheet, and vid of the run:
Stock unopened 99 5sfe
460cc rx7 injectors
3sgte exhaust manifold
ebay manifold adapter
ebay T3/4 57trim .50 a/r
tial wastegate (5.5psi spring)
open dump tube
3" turbo back mandrel bent stainless exhaust
HUGE fmic
2.5" stainless piping
HKS SSQV BOV
2 bar map sensor
SAFC neo
oil filter relocation w/ 10an stainless braided lines and fittings
This run is @ 11psi, pump fuel (93 octane) VS my stock 5s run from back in the day (yes, this is on the same dynojet dyno)

Hey Kettle. Its Pot. You're black.
kent came over to borrow my boost controller. he checked the oil on his own. just so happens it was low.
jeff don't get your panties in a bunch, you're just upset because my DSM outlasted your Nissan.

Hm. Nope.
I don't have sand in my vagina. I am just pointing out the obvious that my engine was beat on SLIGHTLY (lol) more.
A drift car's engine takes a lot of abuse, which is what the owner before Kent, used it for.

The same reason ItalianDave traded his (my) perfect condition reliable toyota celica for a modded DSM, and also lost 1000 dollars in the process.
Kent must have serious persuasion powers.

kent had nothing to do with it..
it was the power of being addicted to boost that took care of it.
