Refinishing 2006 Mustang GT's mirrors+front splitter
My buddy asked me to refinish his 2006 Mustang GT's front splitter (bumper lip) and mirrors...so here we go, started with the mirrors...





Ugly seam that I'll be sanding off...







Getting started on that seam...



Prepped with 400-grit...







Primed...





Going to let dry, flip them around, hit them lightly with some sand paper (probably 600-grit) and then do another light coat of primer...

Hit them with an initial black coating, with a few imperfection that I see (you can see most of them in the pics) I may be lightly sanding again and repainting before moving to clearcoat.









More later tonight, most likely.

Rigged up a piece of mdf from the shop to prop these up to clear the whole mirror in one go
