Catch cans, any subie guys running them?
There are a few options out there including DIY, what are you guys running?

after pulling the PCV valve last weekend and seeing the gunk/buildup I think it is time to install a pair of catch cans, but wanted to see what others have used with reviews etc.

thanks for your help

I am running one on my STI. You can run them off several places from the crank case vent tubes, but mine was put on by my tuner because it was a last minute buy along with my turbo inlet.

finally had some time to work on the subie today

4.5 hours, some bleeding, some swearing, and some creative engineering later...

SUCCESS! A/O separator installed and the car is running like a top!

the amount of oil/water sludge in the breather system was crazy, how that system can be considered good enough for OEM is beyond me.

If anyone ever needs help installing one of these, call anyone but me, that was a damn bear!

The stock system sucks plain and simple. We have our own can that we use and multiple cans in some cases.

or, placebo effect!
