Vintage bikes (1960 bmw r60)
Father is bringing me my gpas 1960 BMW r60 in a month to put back to original form/look. Its been sittin for 20+ years so Im wanting to find someone to look over the motor and etc.

Anyone know of anyone or a shop that knows about these bikes off the top of their head......and knows what theyre doing?

I know about the shop in Northside but don't know about their reputation:

I'm sure Bill at Bore-Tech would know his way around that bike. He re-did the cylinder head on my R1 and does great work.

I had Bill go through my 74 cb500 motor...rebuilt the top end. It was pricier than i thought, but that may be because it is not a very common motor. Thing ran like a top when i finished everything else.
