The most badass corrado
well, there are sure to be some naysayers...
but this is my favorite corrado b/c it actually gets driven...
http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...radburnout.flv
last article I read had the car running 27 lbs of boost on a T67 right around 575Rwhp... I wish they would post a dyno graph though, I am curious to see where the power is...

That's pretty cool. I wonder how much work the RWD conversion took, what tranny etc.

he had to use a steering box from a starion to get the clearance up front so there was probably some fab work associated there...
he actually used a borg warner T56 transmission with a custom adapter plate to mount to the bellhousing...
he rotated the VR6 for longitudinal mounting and moved it back in the engine bay... this gives the car a much closer to 50/50 weight split
he is a mechanic/designer by trade so he was able to do most the work himself...
he has plans to build another one this time making jigs for all the proprietary parts...
my dream would be to convert my 'rado to RWD with one of his kits...
very cool build for sure, he even had it for sale...
the wife and I tried really hard to free up the $$$ to buy it... $20k was the asking price.

I wish he had like progress pics from the build. I'd like to see all the custom work he did.

The most badass corrado
The R8 name should stick with the car, even if it has a V10 or Diesel. In fact, when the car was first announced they didnt even mention the V8, just the Gallardo based V10 detuned to have less horsepower.

Which iteration of it did you see? Big FMIC a/a or the dual a/w setup?
either way it was taken apart and was being made into a dual engine car with a VR-T for the front wheels and a VR-T for the rear wheels...
not sure if it was ever finished as the owner moved to NY state
