looking for information on putting a 2zz-ge out of a 00' gt-s into a 95 celica st still in the reasearch phase but anything would be helpfull. only swap info i can find is the 4agze

just put the 3SGTE in that bitch. www.6gc.net or www.celicatech.com should help. although its gonna be alot of work to put anything into an ST. would be much easier with a GT.
so sell yours and buy the white one from kent and put a 3SGTE in it. good to go.

Uh. They do. The type r has a wing and a different lip, .... the GSR just has a little "vtec" badge on the back of it... and that's the only diff, right? Maybe I'm mistaken. UM NO! What i meant was the the rear of a ST looks like crap! A GT has a much meaner stance to it! and on the al-trac thing, those are just better celicas all around! they look good, AWD, Turbo. need i say More i just like that gen of celicas way more than i like the supra wannabe! |

Maybe you're comparing the hatchback to the coupe/convertible. In 6th gen celicas, the ST and GT are exactly the same dimensions -- everything is the same, aside from the engine, transmission, on some GTs the suspension is different, brakes, and the stock wheel size. Outer dimensions and styling are exactly the same.
You say you like that gen of celicas way more than the supra wannabe (i would assume that's the 6th gen celicas), and you're talking about the all-trac. Maybe you're mistaking 6th gen for 5th gen. 5th gen celicas came as ST, GT, GT-S and All-Trac in the US. Difference between the GT and GT-S was the width of the car (meaner stance, perhaps?). Same engine, though. All-Trac was AWD and turbo of course. 94-99 celicas only came as ST and GT in the US. GT-Fours were sold overseas.
Pretty sure I've got those facts straight, correct me if I'm wrong. |
