I had a thread on this a while ago; in the flamers section.

A WHEEL is what bolts to your axle.

A RIM is the part of the wheel that the bead of the tire mounts to.

Your old Huffy bicycle had a 3 piece *wheel* made up from a hub, spokes and a RIM that held the tire on.

Get it??

WHEELS or Rims, depends on the person i am talking to. But they are Wheels, not rims.
