so if anyone has input towards the car i am interested in please fill me in lol. waffles have you put a short throw in your car? there is a kit that is suppose to make the shifter 1.75" shorter and stiffen the shifter base to make it feel a billion times better

My input is actually in here. I share the same motor, and have had nothing but good luck. I like the car a lot. It's a nice daily, decent gas mileage and just fun enough I don't hate driving it.

And no, the car is completely stock. Definitely have no plans on changing that, especially with my luck with vehicles.

when i talked to mazda up here they said that they really dont care about intake, exhaust, shifter etc as long as the motor was messed with

Speaking from experience, I would get something in writing. You may be out of warranty so it may be a mute point... But that's how I got burned on the orange Neon, they told me as long as I didn't open up the motor they would be okay with it..... Until my motor blew and they pulled my warranty.

with the cost of living so high up here 60k a year is more like 45-50k a year back home in the nasty...
