No, actually most of the drives are 10 miles or more. It also sometimes feels like it's hesitating slightly when taking off in 5th gear on the highway, but I don't feel that when i drop down to 4th gear (out of 6, 6 being an overdrive gear).

It's both of the above, most likely. The new Hyundai turbo engines put an inordinate amount of oil and oil vapor thru the pcv, and since they run really rich stock, it thins it out. In every catch can I've seen on a GC (mine's not installed yet), there's always at least 20 mL of oil that reeks of gasoline every 3k miles. Some even find a little coolant/water vapor. Check inside of your pre-turbo inlet piping and it's probably covered in a thin layer of oil. Install a catch can on the throttle body side (if not in vacuum line on passenger side before the intake too) and get a tune. That should solve the problem.

I know a guy who bought one of these and within a week returned it to the dealer. I forget what problems he had with it though.

I wouldn't say they're bad/cheap cars. It could use a little refinement, but a $50 fix to have a decently performing turbo car for less than $25k is worth it to me

I would take this one back and get a new one to try the catchcan on. You could only have 10k miles on the car and have 50k in wear on the engine from this. You have the chance to return it so do it.

Yup lol. There are guys who put less than 3k into a base 2.0T and are putting down over 350whp (doing the work themselves, obviously)

I was reading this article on Gencoupe.com and found that the issue might be partially due to improperly gapped spark plugs. Gap too small = incomplete burn = maybe gas getting in the oil... Apparently a lot of new Hyundais are shipped with improper gaps. Just a thought: Check yo gaps!

He did! when i got it he wanted me to bring out to go for ride! lol

I mean.... its just a car! lol

But i like how people crack on my cars for stuff they heard people say about other audis, that has never happened to mine. Hell the cluster problem was on the old a6 and s4. only affected certain cars. RFB thinks that every audi since 1912 has had those problems.

My electronics are all fine still. Only thing is some of the pixels in my info screen are hard to read when it's hot out.
