Clear Headlight Lenses - What Adhesive?
Any recommendations on what to use to secure new lenses to the old headlight housing for an S14 (I'm sure it's not different for any other car...)?

I got sick of the god awful ugly plastic lenses on the Zenki and ordered some clears. The challenge is that the new ones don't have the ridges that actually seat into the housing (like the stock ones) so it's not a "perfect" fit, but they line up pretty well.

Anyways, suggestions on how to best seat the new lenses and what to seal them with?

Permatex clear silicone adhesive. Ive used it to reseal tons of leaky lenses after I split them to dry them out.

The great stuff, see SBZ ranting about getting an intake manifold off a Ford!

Those are good solutions. Add another to the mix.... Nissan headlight sealant works wonders as well. Seals very well, but easily softens at 200 degrees to allow for access back into the light.

Yeah it took 225 degrees but yeah. :-P Sticky stuff!

Can you actually pick that up at a dealer or something? And thanks for all the suggestions!

Yeah, the silicone is definitely permanent. If you want to ever take it apart again your s.o.l.
