I dn't recall how 8/12 months is a few. Most people drive their sports cars like that.

But it sounds like you're trying to put a cost to joy ratio on it. A bike is a toy, nothing more. If you can't afford a toy then don't buy it. And party of owning the toy is not being able to play with it all the time.

Pot holes up here make it interesting. I want a bike again but the over a foot deep pot holes on the highways and the half ass patch jobs elsewhere kind of hurt that interest.
