hey I'm new to Cincy, and new to tuning in general. i own a 2005 scion xb manual transmission. i don't want to do too much to it, but i do want it to have more power. my buddy told all i need is intake, headers, and exhaust. but i just wonder if there are any other scion owners out there. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Only advice you need. DO NOT MODIFY A SCION.

well what do you all think i should get. just so you know I'm a cheap ass, and don't want to spend too much on a car, so what do you all suggest? i have been thinking about buying another car anyway.

it has barely over 100hp from the factory. you're not going to do anything on a "cheap ass" budget to give it any power. sorry, it just wont happen. if you have one of the newer ones with the tC engine, then you have a much better base to start with.

what are your spending limits? you can easily spend 1000 plus for simple I/H/E

^^ and gain maybe 5 hp if you are lucky. It's a waste of time and money.

^^^ yes it is.... They gain next to nothing from bolt ons.... you could boost it if you didn't want to be a cheap ass and be a tad bit different but it won't be cheap....
