I remember being told by my buddy whos a reg. at Tri State he saw the vette go 10.0's with absolutely no slight chance of traction at all, didn't see it with my eyes, but seems more reasonable for an est. 1100hp.

even though me a Tim have had our differences, He did run a 11.80 on street tires. This is on a car not really setup for the strip.
With proper suspension tuning and correct size slicks, 10.50 is NOT out of the question.
It only takes 325 NA whp in a CRX to go 9.9x, getting that "extra" power down in a FWD is the key.

I seen a Lingenfelter vette at Norwalk once that was TT and running 10.0's without making much noise at all. I think it would be a good race between Tim and the vette---ON THE HIGHWAY.

just so everyone knows the # on the vette are n/a it has not yet been tuned, and as far as it goes tim was coming to middletown running his mouth and when the money showed up he always backed out. The 12.50 i am fucking with him because tim and his fudgepackin freinds said it would run 10.50 consistant, his car is quick i am not saying it isn't, but he does always have a reason it went slow or not to race. so please dont think we are trying to bash tim that car has to do with this shop and our engine guy so it does matter to us

we have tried to race and he says he wont race the vette but it ok we are not a speed shop we make shit look good the vette was just some thing ryan wanted to do that was unreal and he did we will see him at the track someday. and i keep tell people that we do not compete with tim hes good and he builds fast cars we are a custom paint and accesories shop with 700 vendors and this is all a long story we never had said anything about tim or his shop and out of the blue he or someone at his shop started sending e-mails to us( shitty e-mails).

after my visit today at RACELINE i am impressed and the dyno papers will be ava. soon i will speak with ryan about getting this done at raceline they really seem to have their shit together/ i bet you would race a 4500 lb truck i do beleive ryan has already spoke to the guys at raceline and will be running the vette on dyno at cavalcade

The vette will be down for a while, this car has never been tuned or has never seen a dyno yet. I put a baseline tune from ls1 edit in it. I never said one bad thing about tim either, I respect what he does to the honda's it is just not my thing. I will never race on the streets either, with no license comes no job and it is also really stupid. To anybody that wants to know about the vette or wants one built contact me at 513-571-3966. I am putting Accel DFI gen 7 in it with a little more displacement.

this whole thing reminds me of last year when there was a big bashing on dereck's car(yellow type r).all people know is that there is a TT vett and they want to talk shit about it. that last part is not aimed at anyone specific.

5.7+, twin t3/t4 turbos, probably not much boost since it's not tuned. Don't think twin t3/t4's are going to produce 1000+ HP. I think it's a nice/cool/fast car, but making a claim of 1100HP without it being tuned or dynoed is just a joke. People that make that kind of horsepower in their cars spend a ton of money, and based on looking at his setup, it didn't look like it would be anywhere near 1000HP.

1000 engine HP is 800 rwhp. I think it's VERY feasible for him to get that. Shit.. Supras get that all the time. Who knows... I'm anxious to see him get tuned and Dyno.

With that said I believe this Corvette has all of the power they claim, and I am anxious to see it in person. :cool:

actually there's plenty of Supra's over 600whp on Bone stock internals (pistons, rods, crank). The current record holder is 980whp by a guy in chicago and the previous record was 958whp by a guy in texas.

Yeah, I know, I just didn't want to quote high b/c some of the a-holes here would start a war if I said 900whp. Not like 600whp isn't amazing anyway for an engines stock internals. My 3S-GE handled boost good for a 4-cylinder, but I'd trade up to a 7M, 1J, or 2J any time. :D

A 427ci motor flows 803cfm @ 100% VE. Now lets take a T3, say approximately is gonna produce 300bhp NOT RWHP!! Remember I'm playing with numbers, not going for accuracy here. The T3, again picking a number, flows 600cfm. 1 T3 turbo won't even BOOST a 427ci motor. In fact, it would suffocate it! Having twin T3s then would flow 1200cfm, which is roughly 600bhp. Again these figures aren't 100% accurate cuz I'm a lazy bastard to look up the flow numbers. But this should give you bench racers a prime example of how the shit works. When you have a motor flowing 803cfm and making 400-500hp adding a turbo doesn't mean more power unless you're adding more air. For example, putting a 14b turbo on a stock 350 prolly won't even boost the fucking thing without working overtime.
Displacement means more power due to the higher amount of air it flows and transfer to power. Bigger displacement + turbo doesn't always mean super power if the fucking turbos can't boost the damn thing. Take a 5psi setup on a big ass V8 and put the same setup on a 4 cyl and the 4 cyl will see a SHITLOAD of boost, ie. 30+psi. Again, not going for accuracy on the conversations as I'm too lazy to do em.
Now what having a big displacement motor + turbo does get you is IMMEDIATE power and most importantly torque. Which is oblivious to 90% of you ricers out there because you can't produce any, and since you don't have that luxury you deem it worthless. For example, I saw a dyno sheet for a C5R block twin turbo Trans Am. . . 427ci or 422ci and produce 600rwhp and 800ft/lbs of torque. . . I didn't pay too much attention to the actual setup as I was in awe in its brilliance and kick ass paint job.
However, I will say this about the T3 turbos. . . A buddy of mine has a similar pair of turbos on a 346ci ls1 producing over 600+rwhp @ 8-10psi and his best time is 9.8s I believe @ high 130's mph. Right now he's limited by his fuel system to get more power out of it. . . The car is setup for drag BTW, just FYI. More info on it if you follow this link http://www.kingsoftheroad.com/ttta.html
And a THEORY I developed. And this is in my own belief. . . I haven't researched it so thats why I say its my belief. Power to weight ratio doesn't mean dick. How you ask? I used to have a car that had 415bhp (approx) and it had a worse power to weight ratio than a Z06 and it would SPANK a Z06 day in and day out. The only reason I can figure for this is this - My torque was rediculously higher than a Z06. It is in my thinking that the more torque you have will compensate for the extra weight. I don't know how true this is, if it is at all. . . But its my reasoning behind stuff like this. That and also a kick ass power band, lets put it this way. . . All motor at idle I was making more HP than most of your cars come with stock ;) (ok its a lil exagerrated but I thought it was a good punch line - roughly 80bhp @ 2000rpms, maybe ;) )

I like the vette, props to it. But the ability to take it sideways through half the gears isn't that impressive. Times and numbers are impressive cuz my old car was a helluva lot slower than that vette and could take it sideways at 90mph. . .
And just for reference, my post before last isn't saying what the vette will do at all cuz i don't know what the setup is. . .

This is outa hand. Reality is that twin T3/T4 Hybrids on that vette could easily do 800whp with proper tuning and the right setup. Enough said. Whether or not this one has the right setup has yet to be seen by me. I personally can't wait to see it and I hope it does put down that much power. :cool:

Jesus, most of you guys are idiots about turbos. . .
A 427ci motor flows 803cfm @ 100% VE. Now lets take a T3, say approximately is gonna produce 300bhp NOT RWHP!! Remember I'm playing with numbers, not going for accuracy here. The T3, again picking a number, flows 600cfm. 1 T3 turbo won't even BOOST a 427ci motor. In fact, it would suffocate it! Having twin T3s then would flow 1200cfm, which is roughly 600bhp. Again these figures aren't 100% accurate cuz I'm a lazy bastard to look up the flow numbers. But this should give you bench racers a prime example of how the shit works. When you have a motor flowing 803cfm and making 400-500hp adding a turbo doesn't mean more power unless you're adding more air. For example, putting a 14b turbo on a stock 350 prolly won't even boost the fucking thing without working overtime.
Displacement means more power due to the higher amount of air it flows and transfer to power. Bigger displacement + turbo doesn't always mean super power if the fucking turbos can't boost the damn thing. Take a 5psi setup on a big ass V8 and put the same setup on a 4 cyl and the 4 cyl will see a SHITLOAD of boost, ie. 30+psi. Again, not going for accuracy on the conversations as I'm too lazy to do em.
This is what I'm getting at... I'm pretty sure that twin T3/T4s aren't going to even come close to seeing 1000+hp and certainly not 1100hp. There not big enough turbos.

Ok... There's a guy with an orange Integra... with ONE t3/tO4, and he put down about 340 or so fwhp (on a dyno jet it would be over 400, Which is close to 500 engine HP) on 14 psi. Now what makes you think that TWO of those turbos, with more than twice the displacement, and tons more boost, Couldn't have 800+ rwhp which equates to roughly 1000 engine hp?

I'm not sure what the airflow is on a T3/T4 since I don't know what housings are on there but I don't see an 800 HP claim unbelievable. For reference, which is all I have to go by, my T-44's have the T4 exhaust housing, .69 A/R and flow 810 cfm each which Cartech claims is capable of 1000 HP......"capable" is one thing, I'm sure I'll never see 1000 HP with this combo. At least I hope not. :eek: Sounds like some wicked phat nasty bitches are going to be rolling next year. Can't wait!

Hmm Dynos are cool, but hell, I have had a couple cars Dyno Low numbers but Run High Mph and Low Ets.
Vinny, swing down tomorrow, You have to see this new Turbo....BAWHAAAA, Its so cool. :D

If I make to Raceline Saturday (have to retune car from winter setup) and find the money, I hope to break 200 whp on a stock block SOHC VETC with IHE and ZEX.
I'll likely not have the money or the CLUTCH!, but will stop it to help.
Shit, if I can get 118 whp (135 bhp) out of a 102 bhp of a old D15B7 with 4 simple NA bolt ons, never taking the head off of a 135,000 mile motor, I can't wait to tune my current setup.
