do you want wheels with a a good size lip that is good all around as well??

do you want wheels with big lips (deep dish)??

will you be doing and drag or road racing??

and last do you have a s13 or 14??

18's are better for s14's. you can rock 18's on a s13 but are far better off with a 17. 17's are better for all around use on just about anything so you can't go wrong with that. if you want 18's with big lips on your s13 with good all around use i'd say a 18x8.5 or 9 up front. it depends on how much lip you want. and 18x9.5 or 10 in the rear.

FUNCTION
i would go 18x9 FRNT with an offset of +15~20 WITH ROLLED FENDERS. SMALL PULL
18x10 RR with an offset of +12~18

Form with some function
18x9 offset +10~15 WITH PULLED FENDERS
18x10 offset +5~12

I'm running 17x9 +15 front and 17x10 +12 rear on my s14. Rolled front fenders, and overfenders in the rear. I dig the way it looks and fits, and the ability to run 275s in the rear. It tucks with credit card clearance in the rear, and would in the front if I had better springs.

tires sizes also-frnt 225/40/18 rear 245/35/18 they tires are stretched a little as well

if you go with a low offset you will want rear upper control arms. over fenders are nice both rear uppers i think are a must...

what wheel did you have in mind??? whats your price range for wheels and a this project???

Thread hijacking time! Find me some badass low offset wheels with a lot of lip or concave spokes. Looking for at least 10" wide on the rear... fitting 315/35/17s with overfenders. Cheaper the better.

lol thanks. but i would not put this on anything black. i've seen them on a couple of cars in person and they do not look that great. you can try my wheels on to see if you like them. i would go with a black,bronze,or chrome but not my car so its all good. nice g35 BTW.

this will call for fender pulling and probably a stretched tire with some negitive camper depending on your final wheel size and OS. 18x9.5 with +15 will fit fine with some rolling. if you want a big tire on it i would pull the rear fenders and call it a day.

the 17's will allow to run a bigger tire cause your OS will not be that low unless you do in fact choose a low OS. also the small wheel helps with fitment of bigger tire the like 255~275 sizes. the 18's are the more "baller" wheels but more money.

if you don't want to spend a lot of money get the 17's in a good OS and you will be fine. if you want to save a little more and wait or you have the money for 18's i would get the 18's.

As of money wise...I have a kid ont he way so that should tell you right there. Lol. I bought some Racing Hart rims and Goodyear tires awhile back (19x10.5 & 19x8) and spent $4600 all together....Im not gonna do that ever again if that tells you something. Lol

Im mainly lookin for a 5 spoke decent dish in the rear rim if that helps....depending on what the rims look like will prob make me decided whether i want 17's or 18's.....

Why not have both? You could cram a 275+ on those with modifying the quarters.
I actually really like those rims. Definitely not for everyone though.

thanks i guess lol. i know what ya mean. the control arms are needed if he keeps the stock fenders and puts a really low offset wheel on. he will need to camper the wheel in depending on how low he sets his car. plus even if he had overfenders the adjustablity of camber is awesome when you want to show,drift,drag or just cruise. he could set it to whatever he wanted. wide tire or not.

i make 3xxhp so i don't need a wide tire. you have a 2jz that makes uber more power. lol. did you sell that car yet robbie???? i like it BTW!!!!
