Nice, I take it you have a Jardine exhaust? If so, how'd you take the stickers of of it? My shit is on there like no other.

Yes, you're correct it's the dual outlet carbon Jardine pipe. Regarding the stickers, I used Goo Gone on them and they peeled right off, there was little glue left on the pipe itself, but after I couple washes it's clean looking now.

Any goodies done to your blade, besides the exhaust?

I have a PCIII on the way and air filters sitting on the kitchen table. Gonna do both at once. Other than that I have Spiegler SS brake lines. I would recommend getting Galfer's. I've been having issues lately with my brakes becoming spongy. It could be something else. I changed all the bleeders screws out for speed bleeders. Thought maybe I had a leaky bleeder somewhere. I haven't checked it since I installed those and bled the lines again, haven't rode the bike for a week or two (everyone I ride with was outta town). Hopefully they're golden now. Otherwise the only thing thats left is the lines or my master is FUBAR. Then I put the stock lines back on and its in for warranty ;)

wow! I have had no problems from my HEL's, considerable improvement(s) over stock. Air filters are in the near future for me, but saving for some Marchesini's currently, weight savings alone would out-weigh any mentioned mod, haha.

I take it you're a bigger guy eh? If you get those Marchesini's, lemme know. I'd consider getting them but right now I couldn't afford it as I have other affairs to tend to such as my POS Camaro. But I hear since you not only reduce overall curb weight but rotating weight as well makes a huge difference on acceleration and stopping. But I would like to check them out and maybe feel the difference which might make me wanna bump them up on the priority chain.

I'm tall, but not "BIG", I would have a lot more done, but prepping my bike for the track requires some $$$. Ever ride Mid-Ohio?

No, I've been looking for someone to go to it. I want my friend Matt to go but he's always tight on money.

As far as prepping the bike for trackday. What event organizer are you trying to go through? Some of em don't care. Basically just have good tires, tape up or remove glass, and don't kill yourself. Thats what I did for putnam. Sounds like what alot of the organizers do except NESBA (I think) and STT.

STT

When riding intermediate and advance days, braided lines, engine ice or equivilant, tape all breakables, 75% tires (I'll go through a set or two in a day) are required, full leathers for my tall ass weren't cheap either, oh yea and gauntlet gloves and boots required too. You should see the looks one gets when riding in full leathers, boots, gloves, and all haha, it's like people don't know what to think when they see a motocycle rider geared up and not being a squid!

NICE looking bike. I could go for a blacked out swingarm but it looks good even now though.
Keep the shiny side up.

What tires are you running? I ran regular Diablos and got a trackday + 2400 miles outta em. I got Diablo III's now. I'd run race tires but I don't have a tire warmer which will lead to cold shredding. Besides, I'll outride my suspension before I'll ever outride the street tires (good one's at least).

I've never had anyone look at me weird. :ty: 9/10 times when I take the bike out its to beat the shit outta it so I'm always in full leathers. Putting around and cruising on it doesn't appeal to me for some reason. Hell I broke my 1000 in at the track.

The only thing STT requires that I'm not fond of doing, because I'm lazy, is switching the coolant out. I guess I could overcome that simple task but everything else is pretty much the same as any event holder. You don't need braided lines to run at the track in any of their classes but they're recommended. Just good tires, tape your shit up, leathers, and thats pretty much it :ty:

I run Supercorsa's, I have much faith in these. . .I too get bad cold tear, warmers are another purchase in my future, for the sake of my tires.

Thanks for the compliment unvc, if I see a dumped 07 black swingarm on ebay or online, I'll pick it up, but until then...
